Abstract:   (14 Views)

Background: We aimed to conduct a systematic review of studies investigating the effect of using magnetic laser on the treatment of infraorbital nerve injuries.
Methods: An electronic search was conducted of published literature in PubMed/MEDLINE, Cochrane, Web of Science, and SID databases over a fifteen-year period (September 2010 to September 2025). Two independent authors conducted the search process. Study eligibility criteria included randomized and non-randomized clinical trials, prospective or retrospective studies, case-control studies, and case series that evaluated the effect of magnetic laser therapy use on infraorbital nerve injuries.
Results: We selected 4 studies. One study in 2024, 1 in 2021, 1 in 2020 and 1 in 2013 investigated the issue.
Conclusion: The use of magnetic lasers could be used to repair facial nerve injuries, especially the infraorbital nerve, and is a promising alternative to current treatments.
